Feeding Programs

In the past we have purchased a malnourishment food supplement product in a powdered milk form that is stronger than sustagen. We can buy the product for 10 pesos per tin (less than 25 cents).
We must thank the Sarah John Foundation, pastor George Padilla (a local pastor) and the Reliv Manufacturers for giving us access to the milk at such a cheap price.
We have put more than 1200 children through this program since we started it and it is very clear that we have had an impact upon child malnourish here in Baseco. There are still malnourished children here, but they are not everywhere, as they were when we first began working here.
Our leaders do an excellent job at facilitating the feeding programs.
We have hundreds of photos, but I am still working out how to give you access to them all without putting them all on the site.
We do not have any feeding programs running at the moment, but we have stocks of the milk that we can use on an individual basis as required.
From time to time we do other feeding programs where we might feed 100 children a local dish served out of either of our churches.
